Security, privacy and protection against threats are an ongoing concern. The threat of being insecure has greatly increased since the advent of PC and multiplied hundreds of time with the entry of internet age. XpFinance.com is fully aware of the legal and business consequences that a CPA firm will potentially get exposed to by not keeping clients’ data secret and confidential. The recent ethics update by AICPA requires CPA to disclose the involvement of outside offshore partner in processing the client work. |

XpFinance.com is managed and supervised by a CPA and are
therefore fully aware of the concern that public practice
firm is living in day in and day out. At XpFinance we
utilize the latest technology to safeguard the privacy and
confidentiality of clients’ data. We take client’s
concern as a serious point in defining our business deliverable
and structuring our PROCESS FLOW
Our server is located in Dallas, Texas and is security protected
by 132-bit encryption. The entire data of the Client Company
is back up daily to another location in California to avoid
any chances of loss of data in case of natural disaster, fire
etc. Our California Server access is restricted via Secure
Socket Layer (https://), using 128-bit encryption to send
and receive your files. Once at data storage, your data is
as safe as money in your bank. Your files are stored in IBM
and Network Appliance storage boxes. For data backup, daily
“snapshots” are taken of all of the stored data.
|
| We use Quickbook online software for accounting. The Online Edition of Quickbook encodes your transmissions with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) 128-bit encryption — the technology used by banks and brokerages to safeguard millions of dollars in transactions. Your financial data deserves — and gets — the same level of protection. If however, these security measures are not sufficient for your data protection, we are open to installing servers in your office.
